Monaco regulator identifies clients with Russian ties at banks and management companies
Monaco’s financial regulator AMSF has published the results of multi-year inspections of UBS Monaco, Banque Havilland, Julius Baer, Guardian Management and International Corporate Structuring (ICS), conducted amid the principality’s attempt to leave the FATF grey list. In the dossiers, it pointed to clients with Russian ties, for whom banks and management companies, according to the regulator, insufficiently checked the source of funds, sanctions risks and business connections.
