In the Central African Republic, Russian has been included in the school curriculum. The decision was made at a meeting of the intergovernmental commission of Russia and the CAR, and the country’s Minister of Education, Aurélien-Simplice Kongbélé-Zingas, signed the corresponding decree.

British The Telegraph and German Welt am Sonntag, in a joint investigation, named Russian citizen Oleg Levushkin as the alleged organizer of the attempted sabotage at Leipzig Airport, and Belarusian citizen Andrey Karshakov as the direct perpetrator. The publication claims that the conclusions are based on documents from the intelligence services of Germany, Lithuania, and Poland, as well as data from senior representatives of Western intelligence agencies.

The Russian Embassy in Germany said that more than 150 Russian diplomats and their family members are required to leave Germany. The mission linked this to the German authorities’ decision to close Russia’s consulate general in Bonn and the Russian House in Berlin after the drone incident at Leipzig/Halle Airport, for which Germany officially blamed Russia.

German authorities said Russia was involved in last month’s drone attack on Leipzig/Halle airport in the eastern part of the country. According to them, the incident occurred on 4 August near Ukrainian cargo planes, and the explosive device did not go off.
