Norilsk Nickel increased nickel output by 41% in the third quarter and confirmed its annual forecast
Norilsk Nickel increased nickel production by 41% in the third quarter of 2026 compared with the previous quarter, to 61,000 tonnes, and also raised palladium output to 736,000 ounces and copper output to 127,000 tonnes. The company confirmed its annual forecast for nickel, palladium, platinum and copper and said that a 9-month major overhaul of the PVP-1 furnace in 2027 could affect output in 2027–2028.
