A Pentagon official told the BBC that the U.S. Department of Defense has stopped using Anthropic AI tools. This happened after the February decision by U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to label the company a supply chain risk and promise to phase out its products by the end of August.

American Palantir Technologies announced a strategic partnership with Nebius Group, founded by Yandex creator Arkady Volozh. Under the agreement, Nebius will become Palantir’s AI infrastructure partner for the Sovereign AI Operating System project, and Palantir clients will be able to use Nebius’s resources while retaining control over their data.
