The Vienna Regional Court for Civil Matters has ordered Rasperia Trading Limited in absentia to pay Raiffeisen Bank International and JSC «Raiffeisenbank» about €3.15 billion. The company has four weeks to appeal the decision before it enters into force.

The Moscow court granted businessman Oleg Deripaska’s lawsuit against the journalists of Vazhnyye Istorii and Verstka after their joint investigation. The proceedings were held entirely behind closed doors at Deripaska’s request, and the journalists intend to appeal the decision.
