The EU expanded the sanctions list against Russia by 1,646 individuals and companies
The EU Council on October 12 finally approved the largest expansion of the sanctions list since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine: 1,646 natural and legal persons were hit by restrictions. The list includes 826 enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex, their executives, and 77 people whom Brussels linked to elections to the State Duma in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
