In Nepal, the death toll from the flood has surpassed one thousand, and more than 600 workers remain in hydropower tunnels
Nepal’s emergency agency said the number of victims of the devastating flood on the border of Nepal and Tibet has exceeded 1,000 people. More than 3,900 people are listed as missing, including more than 600 workers whom the authorities believe are still trapped by a mud-filled network of tunnels at hydropower facilities along the Trishuli River.
