Off the coast of Mexico, Hurricane Polo intensified to Category 5 in one day
Off Mexico’s southwestern coast, Tropical Storm Polo intensified into a Category 5 hurricane in less than a day. On Tuesday, its center was located about 346 km south of Zihuatanejo, and sustained winds reached 266 km/h.
