The government has introduced a bill to delay payments to families of fallen servicemen to up to seven months
On September 30, the government submitted to the State Duma, together with the draft budget for 2027–2029, a bill that postpones the payment of a lump-sum benefit and insurance to the families of fallen servicemen: the money is proposed to be transferred no later than 30 days after a six-month review of documents and circumstances. The Budget Committee proposed considering the document in its first reading on October 29.
