FT: The US proposed that Europe transfer part of the frozen Russian assets under US control
Financial Times reported that US President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, on October 9 during talks in Miami, USA, proposed that European countries unfreeze part of the frozen Russian assets and transfer them to an entity under US management. According to FT, European officials rejected the initiative.
