Trump administration monitors reports of a possible plague case in Russia
The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is monitoring reports of an alleged plague case and related quarantine measures in Russia, a White House spokesperson told Axios. In Irkutsk Oblast, officials earlier reported the death of an employee of an anti-plague institute, after which the Shelekhov hospital was placed under quarantine and 189 people who had been in contact with her were hospitalized.
