In Irkutsk Oblast, three city clinical hospitals in Irkutsk, the Ivano-Matreninsky Children's Hospital, the city maternity hospital, and the Central District Hospital of Shelekhov were closed for quarantine. A mask mandate was introduced at the aluminum plant in Shelekhov, and Rospotrebnadzor said it was a case of «pneumonia of unspecified etiology».
