A court in the US has barred Trump from firing federal prosecutors appointed by a district court
Federal Judge Stanley Bastian ruled that US President Donald Trump cannot unilaterally dismiss US attorneys appointed by a district court. The decision in Roger Rogoff’s lawsuit may be suspended: the US Department of Justice said it will ask the appeals court to freeze it while the appeal is being considered.
