Alfa-Bank: civil budget spending in the Russian Federation will fall to a 20-year low in 2027
According to Alfa-Bank analysts, in 2027 non-interest, non-defense spending of Russia’s federal budget will fall to about 9% of GDP — the lowest level since 2005. At the same time, spending under the «national defense» item will rise to 35% of all expenditures, while key civilian sectors face cuts.
