In Abaza, bears approached the city several times; three animals were eliminated
In Abaza in southern Khakassia, bears approached the city several times: on the night of September 23, hunters eliminated three animals and chased away another one. The day before, the republic’s authorities introduced a heightened state of readiness across all of Khakassia because of the increasing number of cases of bears coming close to people.
