EU lawmakers propose holding companies liable for AI damage
Four Members of the European Parliament have called on the European Commission to propose new legislation on AI liability to close gaps in EU rules. Under their plan, companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic should be responsible for harm that their technology may cause.
