Scientists from the US and China have created a perovskite thermal insulator with record-low thermal conductivity
Scientists from the US and China have created a material based on an analogue of the natural mineral perovskite that lets through a record-low amount of heat — 0.04 W per sq. m — while retaining high mechanical strength. Films made from it, according to the press service of North Carolina State University, could be used in heating devices and space technology.
