Gutsan stated in Minsk that the seizure of corrupt assets from heirs is lawful
Russia’s Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan, at the XI meeting of the Interstate Council on Combating Corruption in Minsk, stated that the seizure from heirs of assets acquired through corruption «fully complies with the spirit of the law and justice». He linked this to prosecutors’ practice in lawsuits seeking to convert such assets into state revenue.
