Jüri Madise elected President of Estonia at an extraordinary parliamentary session
Estonia’s Chancellor of Justice Jüri Madise was elected president of the country at an extraordinary parliamentary session on September 2. She received 71 votes out of 101 deputies, with the required minimum being 68 votes.
