Putin transferred JTI’s Russian assets to the temporary management of JSC «Industrial Assets»
Japan Tobacco International’s (JTI) Russian assets were transferred to the temporary management of JSC «Industrial Assets», registered in Moscow in September 2026. The company confirmed the transfer to Kommersant and said it would seek to ensure the stability of the enterprises, preserve workforces, and fulfill obligations to employees and partners.
