Russian courts have begun to take VPNs, end-to-end encryption, and automatic message deletion in messengers into account as signs of «conspiracy» when deciding whether to send suspects to pretrial detention, journalist and member of the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights of the Russian Federation Eva Merkacheva said.
