The Third Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that Ukrainian soldiers used ground-based kamikaze robotic systems against Russian troops for the first time in Donetsk region. According to the corps, they were delivered to the battlefield by bomber drones, and the operation was named «Vivaldi».

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that from June to August it identified at least 35 videos that may have been altered with AI. In 10 cases, analysts judged them to be fakes with a high degree of confidence and believe the real number of such recordings may be higher.

The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) calculated that at the current pace, Russian troops will need until October 2, 2032, to occupy the remaining 19% of Donetsk Oblast. According to analysts, this will happen after the next State Duma elections, which are likely to be held in September 2031.
