Oil prices are rising on Wednesday for the fourth consecutive session after the U.S. military sank five tankers carrying Iranian oil in the Persian Gulf. Brent rose by 1.39% to $99.28 per barrel by 09:17 MSK, while WTI rose by 1.21% to $94.16.
Oil prices rose on Tuesday to multi-week highs after reports that Iran-backed Yemeni Houthis shelled energy facilities and cities in Saudi Arabia. By 13:54 MSK, Brent was at $98.67 per barrel, and WTI was at $93.97.
