In Russia, registered abortions have fallen by more than four times over 15 years
Over 15 years, the number of abortions registered in Russia fell from 1.01 million to 235,700, Vedomosti calculated based on data from Rosstat, the Ministry of Health, and expert estimates. In per-birth terms, that is 20 abortions per 100 births instead of 56.
