Turkey to introduce age verification in social networks via e-Devlet starting November 1
Starting November 1, rules will take effect in Turkey under which social networks will not be able to register or serve children under 15. The age of owners of existing accounts will be confirmed through the state portal e-Devlet, and profiles of teenagers aged 15–17 will be set to private by default.
