The European Union imposed sanctions on 10 people and 17 organizations that the EU considers involved in the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia and to occupied territories, as well as in the «suppression of democratic opposition» in Russia. The restrictions affected Tatarstan head Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian officials in occupied territories, and the Songdowon children’s camp in North Korea.
