ASTRA: at a school in Novye Vatutinki, a teacher asked a student to replace the Statue of Liberty with a Soviet monument
At a school in Novye Vatutinki in Moscow, the art teacher, according to ASTRA, asked a 12-year-old student to replace a drawing of the Statue of Liberty after a conversation about an «enemy country». The child’s mother contacted the homeroom teacher, who, she said, called what happened «patriotic education».
