A survey of 534 doctors from state clinics, private medical organizations, and specialists who work in several institutions showed that some Russian doctors prescribe patients medications whose effectiveness they themselves consider unproven. This most often concerned «Mexidol» and «Glycine».
In the draft federal budget for 2027, 3.9 billion rubles are allocated to the fight against cancer, compared with 144.9 billion rubles in 2026, that is, about 37 times less. The «Movement Against Cancer» has appealed to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, asking him to explain the reasons for the changes.

Over 15 years, the number of abortions registered in Russia fell from 1.01 million to 235,700, Vedomosti calculated based on data from Rosstat, the Ministry of Health, and expert estimates. In per-birth terms, that is 20 abortions per 100 births instead of 56.
