Hungarian Parliament Approves Amendments to Child Protection Law
Hungary’s parliament has approved amendments to the child protection law adopted in 2021 under Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Provisions banning the «portrayal» or «promotion» of sexual and gender diversity were removed from the text, and the new version is aimed at protecting minors from content that could seriously impair a child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, or moral development.
