The European Commission proposed restricting access to social networks for children under 16
The European Union announced plans to restrict access to social networks for children under 16 in all member states. Children under 13 are to be completely barred from accessing platforms, while teenagers aged 13–15 would be allowed to use them for one hour a day through «mini-accounts» created by parents or guardians.
