AKIT asked to introduce an emergency mode in case of failures in GIS and allow data storage in friendly countries
Russian retailers, through the Association of Internet Trade Companies (AKIT), asked that a special emergency mode be written into the law for cases of mass failures in state information systems. The association sent a letter with this proposal to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and separately proposed temporarily allowing the storage and processing of Russians’ personal data in friendly countries.
