A joint investigation by the British The Sunday Times, the Danish Danwatch, and the Russian Dossier Center claims that Russia has expanded and modernized an underground command center in Mount Kosvinsky Kamen in the Urals in recent years. In a comment to the Russian publication The Insider, expert on Russian nuclear forces Pavel Podvig called the authors’ conclusion about the revival of «Perimeter» incorrect.
