CMASF: capital outflow from Russia over 25 years exceeded 100% of GDP
The Russian economy over the past quarter century has lived in a mode of massive capital outflow abroad, and, according to CMASF estimates, it exceeded 100% of GDP. From 2001–2025, net outflow from the real sector exceeded 110% of GDP, and from the economy as a whole — 130% of GDP.
