On October 29 in Moscow, flowers are laid at the Solovetsky Stone on Lubyanskaya Square in memory of the victims of political repression. Officers from the OMON are on duty at the monument, and among those who came are diplomats from Sweden, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Germany, Lithuania, and France, as well as the former chairman of the board of Memorial, Yan Rachinsky.
