On October 8, TASS reported that the flight of the Swedish Gulfstream S102B Korpen radar reconnaissance aircraft has been recorded over the neutral waters of the Black Sea for the fourth day in a row. According to the agency’s source in air traffic control services, the aircraft departs from Bucharest after the Swedish Air Force was redeployed from Malmen Air Base.
The Russian border guard service detained the Cyprus-flagged cargo ship Västerbotten in the Gulf of Finland, which was heading to the Estonian port of Sillamäe. The vessel was held at anchor for several hours for inspection, then allowed to continue its journey, but it is still in the gulf.

Sweden’s state commission on truth concerning the Sámi has called on the government to apologize for the harm and injustice done to the Sámi people and to launch a national process of redress and reconciliation.
