Swedish AJ Products, a sponsor of the Ice Hockey World Championships since 1989, cut ties with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) after the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland, decided to allow Russian national teams to compete in the 2026/27 season tournaments. Czech Tipsport said it will not place advertising during matches involving Russia.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled that the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) must allow Russian teams to participate in tournaments in the 2026-2027 season.
