The losses of the Russian book industry due to attacks on Wildberries and Ozon warehouses have reached 6 billion rubles. According to data cited by Kommersant, with reference to Vladimir Grigoriev, director of the department for state support of periodical press and the book industry at the Ministry of Digital Development, at least 15 million copies of books have been destroyed.
Sberbank will help Wildberries and Ozon so that the marketplaces maintain stability after losing part of their capacity, German Gref said at the Eastern Economic Forum. He also said that the bank has already launched separate support programs for affected sellers.
