Leonid Volkov called the European Union’s decision to lift sanctions on Mikhail Fridman and Alisher Usmanov «shameful» and creating a «terrible precedent». He reminded that in 2022 he himself signed a letter to the European Commission asking for sanctions to be lifted on Fridman and other top managers of Alfa Group if a number of conditions were met.
