FT: The White House wants to strengthen Ratcliffe’s role and reduce Witkoff’s and Kushner’s involvement
The Donald Trump administration plans to strengthen CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s role in mediating between Russia and Ukraine while at the same time reducing the involvement of U.S. special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Financial Times writes. According to the newspaper, Ratcliffe is to conduct shuttle diplomacy and maintain contact with the intelligence services of both countries.
