The 1st Eastern District Military Court on August 19 handed down a verdict in the murder and robbery case against war participants Vladimir Kabakov and Dmitry Mazur. Kabakov was sentenced to 19 years in a strict-regime penal colony and stripped of the military rank of reserve corporal, while Mazur was acquitted by the jury and recognized as having the right to rehabilitation.
