Witkoff in Oslo discusses peace plan with Zelensky before trip to Moscow
Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff is in Oslo today discussing a peace plan with Volodymyr Zelensky and European allies, which he then intends to present to Vladimir Putin in Moscow. According to The Bell, Washington is trying to get Kyiv to agree to a deal, suggesting that further fighting for the country’s east is pointless and linking this to pressure on the Ukrainian side.
