The State Duma passed a bill allowing banks to transfer clients’ banking data to IT companies without consent
On October 14, the State Duma immediately passed in the second and third readings a bill that allows banks and other financial organizations to transfer clients’ personal data and information constituting banking secrecy to third-party organizations without their consent. Only accredited IT companies and banks with a universal license will be able to process such data, provided the conditions established by law are met.
