Paris prosecutor’s office asks to try Giuliano Ruffini in the case of forged Old Master paintings
The Paris prosecutor’s office has asked to bring Giuliano Ruffini to trial on charges of commercial fraud and money laundering, while also seeking to extend the arrest warrant for Italian artist Lino Frongia, whom investigators believe is hiding in Italy. Prosecutors are also seeking a trial for Ruffini’s son Mathieu and two intermediaries, while they want to drop the most serious charge of gang-related fraud.
