68-year-old Kaliningrad resident Igor Odintsov, whom the Baltic Fleet Military Court sentenced to six years in prison on September 30, said that in Lithuania he was not allowed to request asylum in writing. According to him, after he swam across the Neman River (Nemunas), he was questioned and then handed over to Russian border guards.
