Court in Ulyanovsk sentences Anastasia Chumakova in absentia to seven years in a penal colony
The Zavolzhsky District Court of Ulyanovsk sentenced Astra founder and editor-in-chief Anastasia Chumakova in absentia to seven years in a penal colony in a case involving military «fakes» and evasion of the duties of a «foreign agent». She was also banned from administering websites for four years and fined 200,000 rubles.
