Wholesale diesel in the U.S. rose above the level seen before Trump’s statement about supplies from Russia
After Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said he had reached an agreement with Vladimir Putin, the president of the Russian Federation, on diesel supplies, wholesale fuel prices in the U.S. rose again above the level they had been at before that announcement. November diesel futures on CME Group were trading at $4.87 per gallon on Wednesday, whereas on Friday, after a brief decline, they had fallen to $4.74.
