An Afghan woman with U.S. residency was deported after the first case in a secret court
47-year-old Nazira Haji Zada, an Afghan citizen from Fort Worth, Texas, left the United States and agreed to deportation instead of continuing the case in the secret Alien Terrorist Removal Court. According to the U.S. Department of Justice and her lawyers, this was the first practical use of the court and ended her previous immigration status.
