The Helsinki court sentenced the captain of the cargo ship Fitburg, Russian citizen Andrey Maksimenko, to 3.5 years in prison in the case of the intentional damage to underwater telecommunications cables in the Gulf of Finland. In the same case, the ship’s boatswain, Azerbaijani citizen Vusal Medzhidov, received 2 years and 10 months.
