Archaeologists date the largest Late Bronze Age mine on the Iberian Peninsula
An international team of archaeologists from the universities of Durham, Seville, Gothenburg, and Lund has dated the Las Minillas copper mine in southwestern Spain. According to their conclusion, it is the largest reliably dated Late Bronze Age mine on the Iberian Peninsula, and its copper may have reached Scandinavia.
