FBK reported that Svetlana Polyakova and Polina Kovalyova, after the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, received passports of the United Arab Emirates. According to the foundation, Polyakova, whom it calls the partner of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, received citizenship on December 28, 2022, and Kovalyova — shortly before that on the basis of employment.
